Patient Catering Assistant
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 - 19:00)

We are looking for a Patient Catering Assistant to join our client's dedicated team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to patient care by providing high-quality meals in a safe and supportive environment. Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Service: Assist in preparing and serving meals to patients while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
2. Customer Service: Provide excellent service to patients, answering any queries about their meals and ensuring their dietary needs are met.
3. Meal Distribution: Deliver meals to patient rooms, ensuring timely service and correct temperature.
4. Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in catering areas, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
5. Dietary Requirements: Collaborate with the catering team to ensure all dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences are followed accurately.
Requirements:
1. Good English communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly with patients and the team.
2. Catering Experience: While prior catering experience is a plus, it is not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
3. Physical Stamina: The role involves standing, walking, and lifting, requiring physical stamina.
4. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
5. Passion for Patient Care: A genuine interest in enhancing patients' experiences through excellent food service.
