Night-Shift HGV Technician Oppurtunity in Cardiff
1. Salary: Up to £21.32 per hour, pending experience, plus bonuses.
2. Hours: 2-weekly pattern of Monday to Thursday, then Wednesday to Friday. Average of 38.5 hours per week, working 7:00pm to 6:30am.

Our client, a large franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in the Cardiff region, is currently looking to hire a fully qualified and experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician to work their night-shift rota.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a team, your key objectives will include:
4. To complete all service work and defined maintenance work of the utmost quality and efficiency within the manufacturer's time schedules.
5. Supply a professional performance in all aspects of work activities to make an essential contribution to the value and retention of customers.
6. Supporting colleagues in the workshop with any technical issues and innovations.
7. Ability to carry out comprehensive diagnosis and repairs of malfunctions.
8. Ensure that all company policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
9. Document the results of diagnosis/repairs/service/safety inspections.
10. Promote the image of the product and the aftersales organisation.
In order to be eligible, you will need to be a fully qualified HGV Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and ideally hold some practical experience post qualification. You will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Individuals with an active HGV driving license would be highly advantageous; however, this is non-essential.
