The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a strategic priority for BT, aiming to provide advanced mission-critical communications for Britain’s Emergency Services. It will replace the Airwave network, leveraging EE’s 4G infrastructure to deliver vital voice, data, and communication services to 300,000 frontline emergency personnel.
As Financial Control Manager - TLR, TLC & Reporting, you will support this mission-critical infrastructure by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across BT Business, Networks, and the Home Office. Responsibilities include accounting, budgeting, invoicing, compliance, and reporting.
Candidates must be cleared to BPSS (or equivalent) at minimum, with possible requirement for National Security Vetting (e.g., CTC, SC, or NPPV).
What you’ll be doing
* Drive financial reporting for all cycles, ensuring high-quality information, including reports to the Home Office.
* Provide analysis of labor resources and costs across ESN programs.
* Collaborate with Financial Business Partners to align labor and P&L costs with program needs.
* Maintain financial integrity through process and policy improvements.
* Automate and optimize data handling processes, contributing to system and process improvements.
