Seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and effective debtor management. This is a part-time role offering flexibility while making a significant impact on the organisation. Location: Inverness Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts Chase payments via email and phone, negotiate payment plans Manage budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning processes Maintain and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with statutory accounting and tax requirements Liaise with auditors, banks, and external advisor Implement and optimise finance systems to streamline reporting and operations Liaise with customers to detail payment positions, providing invoices and statements as needed Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or senior finance professional Strong experience in Excel and finance/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a part-time capacity Benefits Competitive salary Flexible, part-time working arrangement Professional development opportunities INDFS
