We are looking for reliable and competent General Maintenance Operatives to join our busy Carlisle team!
Job Title: General Maintenance Operatives
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday (08:00-16:00)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria
What You'll Be Doing:
As part of your daily duties, you'll be responsible for a variety of general maintenance and grounds keeping tasks, including:
* Cleaning and maintaining signs and benches to ensure they remain presentable and safe
* Mowing and caring for grassed areas to keep outdoor spaces tidy and welcoming
* Planting flowers and maintaining landscaped areas to enhance the environment
* Removing fly tipping and other litter to maintain cleanliness and safety
* Emptying bins and ensuring waste is managed correctly
* Assisting with general repairs and upkeep as required
What We're Looking For:
* Some experience in maintenance or grounds keeping is preferred, but candidates with limited experience will also be considered and given full training
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
* Driving license required
Working Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
* £13.08 per hour for experienced candidates
