Receptionist/Administrator Salary: £12.00 per hour (37.5 hours per week) We are looking for someone who has a positive, patient and flexible attitude along with excellent communication skills and a passion for engaging with working age or older adults with dementia and associated conditions to join our team at Asquith Hall. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Communication: To be responsible for answering the telephone, respond to enquiries from visitors at reception and redirect enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner; Meet and greet visitors to reception in a professional, confident and competent way; Show prospective ladies and gentleman, relatives and visiting professional around the home. Responding to queries and providing information as required; Participate in Staff and Client meetings, as and when required, taking accurate minutes and distributing. Administration: Support in maintaining accurate and complete financial records of Towerview Care in line with Company policies and procedures, using computer and manual systems. Process receipts of monies against individual accounts. Maintain records. Support with the preparation of relevant individual financial information to the Sales Ledger department to ensure that invoices to Clients, Local authorities, or persons so responsible are produced accurately and promptly. Follow up settlement of same using manual records and specialised computer software. Liaise with and assist Credit Control Department to resolve any outstanding issues. Support with ensuring continuity of the Payroll and maintenance of the time and attendance system as and when required. Support with arranging the accurate calculation of gross wages on a weekly basis using computer and manual systems. Maintain Staff attendance records. To support with the maintaining and completion of regulatory compliant files for staff members in line with the Companys policies and procedures. Provide administrative / secretarial support to the Home Manager e.g. typing, filing, and dealing with correspondence etc, within given timescales. Operate office equipment such as fax, photocopier and computer as required. Place orders and maintain stationery supplies; Order and maintain records of Staff Members uniforms; Arrange and calculate monthly stock takes and costs. You will be required to assist the Home Managers and Matron to ensure effective, efficient and regulatory compliant administration at all times. The role would suit someone who is able to multi task, prioritise workloads, remain calm under pressure and greet visitors with a smile. Experience of working in a care home environment is desirable.
