Duties
* Serve drinks and food to guests in a courteous and professional manner
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
* Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic options
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
* Restock supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
* Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
* Assist with general guest services, including answering queries and providing recommendations
* Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
* Familiarity with serving techniques and guest service principles is preferred
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food presentation and safety protocols
* Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively
* Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment while maintaining excellent guest service standards
