In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Role Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement activities that delight our Residents.
2. Assist the Home Manager in organising essential fundraising events.
3. Encourage Residents to socialise more effectively and develop new activity ideas based on their hobbies.
4. Engage the care home team in activities with a sense of kindness and consideration.
Candidate Requirements
1. Experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes.
2. Positive energy and natural ability to connect with people.
3. Excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills.
4. Effective time management.
5. Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues.
Additional Information
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues will attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
