Overview
Compass Community School Redwood Park in Milton Keynes is opening in September 2025 as a brand new independent day school for pupils aged 7-19 with SEMH and related needs. Our approach is trauma and attachment informed, with extensive therapeutic training and support for staff. We work to place the child at the centre of decision making, involving education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, local authority teams and the students to secure outstanding outcomes.

A Teacher is required with the ability and willingness to teach English and/or Maths to GCSE level. We maintain high aspirations for our children regardless of their learning journey and recognise the importance of qualifications to provide life chances and opportunities.
Compass Community School teachers inspire children, creating a sense of awe and making subjects and lessons real and relevant. They plan exciting and engaging learning opportunities that challenge and push students, whether they are working on basics or have a special talent or passion for the subject. Our children require teachers who can manage some complex and challenging behaviours, provide consistent communication, offer flexibility, and maintain a non-judgemental approach.
