Are you an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a leading facility in Barnard Castle. This role involves overseeing and coordinating construction activities related to EPCM projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Contract Type: 1 year minimum- Likely extensions
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise construction electrical projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance on all EC&I installations.
* Monitor project progress and conduct assessments to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
* Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
* Foster a culture of safety, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Document all construction activities, including daily reports, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.
* Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations on-site to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client requirements.
Requirements:
* Trade-related city and guilds qualification - ECS gold card (or equivalent).
* Recognized professional certification in construction site supervision - SSSTS (minimum), ideally SMSTS.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in CES field supervision on complex industrial projects, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* TWS (temporary works supervisor) certification.
