Smith School, School of Geography and the Environment, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY The Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment (SSEE) is looking for an exceptional Head of Events to drive the visibility and impact of our pioneering work on the green transition, net zero, and sustainable development. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of major, high-profile events that bring together global leaders from policy, business, academia, and civil society. You’ll shape and implement an ambitious events strategy aligned with Oxford’s climate priorities, work closely with the School’s Director, COO, core team and key academics, lead preparations for the annual Smith School World Forum, bringing together stakeholders from governments, civil society, and public and private enterprise and work collaboratively across the University to amplify our influence and networks. We’re looking for a strategic thinker and experienced events professional with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes, engaging stakeholders at the highest levels, and generating income through innovative event models.
