Purpose of the role
Galliford Try is looking for 2 Quantity Surveyors to join our Infrastructure division, supporting the successful delivery of our new £300m highways project in Cheltenham. Scope of works includes enabling earthworks, widening to the existing road, new link road and various structures.

Responsibilities
* Contribute to creating a safe working environment.
* Produce and negotiate subcontract documentation, including terms, prices, and schedules.
* Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
* Issue commercial notices to the Client and Subcontractors as required by the contract.
* Manage contract changes, including Compensation Event Quotations, and submit monthly applications to the Client.
* Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to maintain proper site records.
* Generate detailed monthly reports, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR), and maintain a comprehensive Cost Plan.
* Attend progress and risk reduction meetings, applying contractual expertise to support estimating and bid teams.
Qualifications
* Good appreciation of NEC contracts.
* Experience of working on major civil engineering schemes.
* Strong IT skills including Excel, Word & Contractual and Cost Management Systems (CEMAR, Oracle).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
