12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Mobile – Swindon/Slough Corridor (operationally West)
Salary: £34,000pa + OT
Working hours : 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

What you’ll do:
1. Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
2. Willing to assist with works outside normal skill set as/if required.
3. Working across multiple projects and minor works as requested.
4. Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
5. Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
6. Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
Who you’ll be:
7. Recognised Plumbing / ITI qualification.
8. Demonstrate experience with installation and maintenance of plumbing and piping.
9. Experience of working within Building Services environments.
10. Able to be appointed as a TP for hot and cold-water systems.
11. Understanding of statutory compliance legislation.
12. Thames Water Passport – Gain and maintain.
