Job description
Safely transport children to and from the daycare centre, to nursery school/school, and other scheduled activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Essential Skills
* Full, clean UK or EU driving licence (appropriate category for the vehicle used Category D1 for minibuses, if applicable).
* At least 5 year’s driving experience post-licence. Experience of working with, or providing services to, vulnerable groups (e.g., children, older people, adults with disabilities).
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Join Early Years the organisation for young children as Driver. Location: Fermanagh Early Years Children and Family Centre. Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of road safety, Highway Code, and safe transport practices. Ability to plan safe and efficient routes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to complete basic vehicle checks (oil, tyres, fuel, etc.) and report faults. Able to deal with emergencies or unexpected situations. Respectful, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Legal & Compliance Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NÍ check. Desirable criteria Qualifications Category D1 for minibuses. First Aid certificate. Manual Handling training. Experience Previous employment as a driver in a care, education, or community setting. Experience in assisting passengers with mobility needs Knowledge & Skills Familiarity with safeguarding procedures in a day care or care setting. Ability to complete simple records/logs (mileage, fuel usage, journey records). Special Conditions Willingness to undertake job-related training as required.
