Main Purpose of Job
The Paraplanning & Compliance Administrator will provide administrative support to the Paraplanning and Compliance team, ensuring New Business applications and/or CYCs are effectively processed in a complaint and timely manner.
To liaise with and guide Financial Advisers to ensure that business submitted is compliant with St. James’s Place and Pinnacle Wealth Management’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Job
* Process client applications including suitability letters and continuation letters in a timely manner.
* Track and report the progress of applications to relevant stakeholders.
* Investigate and respond to Adviser queries.
* Ensure initials and rechecks are accurately completed within turnaround times, minimising adviser re-requests to avoid delays.
* Ensure the maintenance of Submission Registers and Task Manager in so far as data and information management is concerned.
* Adhere to procedures and utilise systems which will ensure the efficient running of the Paraplanning and Compliance team.
* Provide a comprehensive personal and confidential administrative service to all Financial Advisers.
* Ensure all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to in regard to St. James’s Place’s procedures, external regulatory and statutory requirements such as procedures, health and safety etc.
* Prioritise work appropriately to meet competing demands.
* Ensure filing and other general administration tasks are completed in a timely manner and maintained to ensure immediate access when required.
* Support with the administration and distribution of post.
* Undertake any other relevant tasks and duties as required by Pinnacle Wealth Management LLP.
Requirements of the Job (including Interpersonal)
* No previous experience is required but previous administration experience is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills; being discrete and professional in all communication.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Extremely organised with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.
* Solution and service orientated.
* Technology savvy and willing to embrace new systems and software.
* Good analytical and decision-making skills.
* Highly motivated, with a great work ethic.
* Accountable for own actions and willing to work at times in isolation and as part of a wider team.
People Management Responsibilities
No direct management responsibilities but there is a need to build strong relationships across the business and at all levels.
