Band 2 Ward Clerk (Redlands Ward - Elective Orthopaedic Unit)
This is a part-time post for 15 hours per week (Saturday 08:00-13:00 and Monday 07:00-17:30).
You will be required to undertake various clerical and administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of the Ward. You will also support nursing and medical staff, including the Ward Manager.
You will work in a culture that puts the patient first, where colleagues feel proud of their role and are valued for their contribution.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and organised individual to provide outstanding service to all visitors to the department.
You should be confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment, have excellent IT skills, and be comfortable communicating with patients and colleagues at all levels. The role requires working quickly under pressure.
You will be responsible for consistently and accurately carrying out your duties and providing a high-quality, efficient service in a confident and courteous manner.
Experience of working within an administrative environment, using multiple computer systems, and managing data (electronic and paper-based) is required.
Full compliance with local procedures, deadlines, and best practices is essential.
