Plessey is seeking a Marketing & Communications Associate to support clear, engaging internal and external communications across the business. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key communications programmes, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate complex technical activity into compelling, accessible content that supports growth, culture, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver internal communications including leadership updates, company announcements, and engagement initiatives
* Manage and improve internal communication channels such as SharePoint, email updates, and presentations
* Support external communications including website content, corporate messaging, and social media
* Plan, create, and publish social content, monitoring engagement and performance
* Produce branded communications materials and presentations
* Support DEI communications and employee engagement initiatives
* Coordinate internal events, recruitment activities, and engagement programmes
* Own communications planning, content calendars, and delivery timelines
Experience & Attributes
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline
* 4–5 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role, with strong internal communications experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint, CMS platforms, or similar tools
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of work
