Brighter Future www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/jobs-and-careers/employee-benefits.aspx What You’ll Be Doing As a Principal Building Inspector, you’ll: Lead on inspections and ensure compliance across a varied caseload Support and mentor colleagues, sharing your technical knowledge and experience Take the lead on enforcement and investigations Respond to dangerous structures and ensure public safety Build strong relationships with developers, architects, and the wider community Play a key role in driving innovation and continuous improvement across the service Contribute to strategic decision-making and help shape policy and practice What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: A confident, experienced professional with at least 5 years in building control Registered at Class 2D with the Building Safety Regulator A chartered member of a relevant professional body (e.g. CABE, CIOB) Technically strong, with a good understanding of legislation Flexible, proactive, and a great team player Committed to high standards and passionate about making a positive impact Ready to take the next step in their career and lead by example Why Join Us?
