Grade: Surrey Pay PS5 £26,777 to 28,686 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 36 hours per week 52 weeks a year with 24-28 days annual leave (dependent on length of service with Surrey County Council)
Suggested Pattern of work: 7.00-10.30 am & 2.30-6.15pm Monday to Friday.
These are the suggested hours of work; however, alternatives could be discussed during interview.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and proactive Premises Manager to join Laleham C of E Primary school. The Governing Body of Laleham C of E Primary School, are looking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic and flexible Premises Manager to join our friendly school.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities which include maintaining the school premises and grounds, ensuring site security, performing mandatory checks, maintaining accurate records of statutory monitoring as well as co-ordinating on-site contractors and cleaners.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be adaptable, self-motivated and able to use own initiate
2. Have good DIY and decorating skills with confidence in using basic tools.
3. Be able to react positively and be flexible to the pressures of working in a busy school environment
4. Be able to carry out the physically demanding tasks of the role
5. Be able to prioritise to ensure the school maintains a safe environment
6. Have good knowledge and understanding of building maintenance
