Position
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Account Handler/Broking Manager for our Stourbridge team. If you have a passion for insurance, this is your opportunity to join a world-class organization that values collaboration.
Responsibilities
1. Organize and manage personal work activities to meet team objectives and targets.
2. Mentor and assist team members with broking challenges.
3. Participate in team meetings, reporting on business progress.
4. Manage projects and contribute as needed.
5. Review client documentation for accuracy and completeness.
6. Communicate client requirements for risk marketing.
7. Resolve client queries and liaise with market and third parties.
8. Produce high-quality market documentation and secure authorizations.
9. Handle data entry, credit control, and subjectivity chasing.
10. Work with underwriters to balance quality, coverage, and price.
11. Process data accurately to support client service and internal processes.
12. Maintain organized client records.
13. Conduct due diligence and sanctions checks per company procedures.
14. Adhere to policies, procedures, and obtain necessary approvals.
15. Build and nurture positive relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
16. Support senior colleagues and clients as needed.
17. Manage client inquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
Requirements
* Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance.
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
* Familiarity with the market, competitors, territories, and cultural awareness.
* Experience in account handling or technical roles within commercial insurance.
* Understanding of team objectives and individual contributions.
* Mentoring or management experience is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Flexibility, organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
