Training Program
Year 1: You will spend the first 10 months at IPS International learning Electronics, Bench fitting, CAD, Soldering, Inspection and Project related tasks in order to give you the necessary skills to be successful when you return to site.
Year 2: You will rotate through a range of different departments including an Engineering function, Operations and several others to find out what work suits you best.
Year 3: We see what opportunities become available and arrange interviews to spend your final year in a placement where you can start to specialise and build your successful career.
About the Apprenticeship
Our Ofsted (Outstanding Grade 1) Advance Engineering Technician Apprenticeship scheme aims to develop candidates into Technicians to become a part of a dynamic Operations and Engineering workforce.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 / A-C which must include Maths & English & a Science / Technical Subject

Leave Policy
Please note you must not book any annual leave during term-time between September and July whilst at the IPS International training facility in your first year of employment. Following this, leave will be considered depending on the individual training delivery schedule and must be approved by your line manager.
