I am currently looking for a CFO to come and partner with a strong CEO. You will be required to professionalise the finance function and support the business in a period of growth. My client is a PE backed B2B SaaS company, less than £50m revenue and looking are looking to scale over the next 2-3 years to run through a successful exit.
Key Responsibilities;
* Act as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial guidance and a commercial perspective on all business decisions. Partner with the CEO to develop and execute the company's long-term strategy.
* Own the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Develop and maintain robust financial models to inform key business decisions and scenario planning.
* Take ownership of the entire finance function. This includes refining and implementing financial controls, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and preparing for future audits.
* Establish, track, and report on key SaaS metrics such as Monthly Recurring Revenue, Annual Recurring Revenue, Churn, Customer Lifetime Value, and Customer Acquisition Cost. Provide a narrative behind the numbers to the leadership team and board.
* Lead all aspects of cash management, ensuring the company has the liquidity to fund its growth. Identify and manage fundraising activities as required, and act as the primary point of contact for investors and lenders.
* Manage, and mentor a small but growing finance team. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Attributes;
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
* Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO in a B2B SaaS company, preferably with experience in a high-growth environment.
* A strong understanding of SaaS-specific financial models, metrics, and accounting principles.
* Demonstrable experience in re-engineering finance functions and implementing scalable processes and systems.
* Experience working closely with a CEO and other C-suite executives to drive business strategy.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
* Experience investor relations and managing board-level relationships.
To be consider for this role you will have B2B SaaS experience and a strong understanding of SaaS metrics.
This role is paying between £180,000 - £200,000 + bonus and equity.
