Responsibilities for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:
8. Producing hydraulic models and surveys
9. Analysing and interpreting data from the field, and using it to inform reports
10. Generating plans using MapInfo
11. Working closely with clients and stakeholders
12. Undertaking site visits on behalf of the company
13. Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:
14. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or Gepgraphy (or a similar, relevant discipline)
15. A passion for modelling, especially wastewater modelling
16. Good knowledge of InfoWorks ICM, and other relevant software packages
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
18. Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Graduate Hydraulic Modeller include:
19. Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
20. Working knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
21. Some prior experience in a hydraulic modelling role
