My client, a leading UK-based distributor, are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for maintaining safe, high-quality facilities and ensuring the smooth operation of building infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Maintain facilities to high standards, ensuring safety and functionality
* Manage maintenance contracts, vendors, and contractors
* Oversee facilities team and cleaning schedules
* Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance
* Conduct regular inspections, resolve issues proactively
* Manage office/site moves and refurbishment projects
* Hands-on minor repairs as required
Qualifications
* 5+ years’ experience of proven facilities management experience
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, ideally hold IOSH or NEBOSH
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence
* Comfortable managing contractors and rolling up sleeves for practical task
