We are currently looking to recruit a Solicitor to join our highly ranked and award-winning National Family team, based from our offices in Bristol. You will be part of a highly specialised and experienced team representing clients in matrimonial and family law cases, including finance and children matters. The team has particular expertise in complex issues such as business assets, farming businesses, trusts and pensions, and cases with an international dimension. This is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise within a long-established regional team and an award-winning top-tier National Family team at a leading UK law firm.
Responsibilities
* Work within a specialised and experienced team of Family law professionals representing clients in matrimonial and family law matters, including finance and children.
* Engage in cases involving complex issues such as business assets, farming assets, trusts and pensions, and cases with an international dimension.
* Develop knowledge and experience by contributing to a long-established regional team and a national level team.
About You / Qualifications
* Up to 5 years PQE with a sound all-round knowledge of family law and procedure
* Experience and confidence in meeting with clients and advising face to face and remotely
* Experience of advocacy in the family court and/or in other public speaking environments
* A natural team player with a professional and collegiate approach to working with clients and colleagues
* Well rounded client service skills with the ability to empathise with a wide range of clients in order to resolve the most sensitive and complicated practicalities involved in family break-ups
* Demonstrable ambition, energy and enthusiasm for continuing to build a successful Family law team at the top of the market. Confident in developing relationships with other professionals and referrers as part of personal and firm-wide business development plans
