EHCP Admin Assistant

We are currently looking to appoint an EHCP Admin Assistant to work in the Den within the Family Care Division.
The specific working hours and days will be agreed with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate must be customer focused, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure are essential requirements together with great attention to detail for ensuring data is recorded accurately onto the applicable systems.
To be successful in this role you will possess IT skills, GCSE Maths and English grade A-C (or equivalent) and have relevant office/secretarial experience. You must also be adaptable to meet the service needs.
Knowledge of medical terminology, customer care and previous NHS experience are also desirable.
Main duties of the job
The main emphasis of this role is to be a point of access for all children and young people aged 0-25 who are going through the EHCP process, working within established procedures and protocols. As well as being a point of information for young people who have an EHCP and are going through the review process.
Duties will include receiving EHCP requests, collating reports from services, and forward to the Local Authority to meet deadlines, accurately updating the EHCP database as necessary, keeping an accurate electronic database of monthly EHCP figures, securely sending out draft and final reports to all services involved, and to ensure statutory duties are maintained.
