Financial Controller Location: Dudley Remuneration: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time Our client, a family-owned organisation based in the Dudley, is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to lead their financial strategy and management.
Financial Management: Report to the Managing Director, supporting strategic plans and providing key financial insights.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of nine across Management Accounts, Credit Control, Purchase Accounts, and Payroll/HR.
Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Oversee monthly management accounts and daily/weekly reports; analyse performance against forecasts and budgets.
Risk Management: Lead the Credit Control Department and monitor credit risk policies; liaise with credit insurers and brokers.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations; control cash flow and manage banking relationships.
IT Management: Act as the key contact for ERP and accounting systems; Payroll Oversight: Supervise payroll processes through an outsourced provider and manage workforce statistics.
Ad Hoc Reporting: Support commercial and operational management with periodic reports and government questionnaires.
excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and report writing (knowledge of Crystal Reports/Power BI is a plus).
Background in financial control within a manufacturing or service environment is beneficial.
Salary: Competitive base salary ranging from £55k to £70k, depending on skills and experience.
