Graduate Trainee Accountant (ACA Apprenticeship)
We wish to recruit a bright graduate looking to embark in a career in accountancy and to train to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

As part of the team you will help serve a variety of clients, gaining a wide range of experience, including accounts preparation, corporation tax, audit and personal tax. The work will be varied, allowing you to gain experience in all areas of accountancy, helping to support your ACA studies and vice versa.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who, with appropriate training and support, would feel confident to work at clients’ offices when required.
The role is based at our Exeter office and would be for 37.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm. You would be provided with paid study leave and all the costs of the ACA qualification would be met by the firm.
Responsibilities
* Preparation and analysis of financial statements.
* Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns.
* Perform audit work under the supervision of an audit senior.
* Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting team while pursuing ACA qualifications.
* Progressively assume more responsibilities and deepen your technical knowledge.
Minimum requirements
– You must have obtained a 2:1 honours degree or above.
– To be considered you must also have three A Levels at grades A*-C and at least 8 GCSEs at Grade C (5) or above, with Maths and English at GCSE grade B (6) or above.
In both of the above cases, equivalent qualifications are acceptable.
