Overview
Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role at MaxWegener Design.
With our continued growth, we are recruiting for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Revolution. The role will be hybrid or remote working, although if remote, some (very infrequent) travel may be required to our company head quarters. Responsibilities
* Create and optimize an automation framework for testing web applications and APIs.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Playwright.
* Execute automated test cases and analyse results to ensure software quality.
* Work closely with developers and stakeholders to define test strategies, identify gaps, and provide feedback.
* Collaborate with the QA team to implement best practices and increase test automation coverage.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the automation suite, ensuring stability and performance.
* Document test plans, test scripts, and test execution reports.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Our ideal candidate
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation with hands-on expertise in C#.
* Strong proficiency with Playwright or a similar test automation tool.
* Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
* Familiarity with testing APIs and web applications.
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
* Proficiency in SQL for database validation and testing.
* Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
* Experience with security testing
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
