Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to established recipes and standards
* Supervise kitchen staff during breakfast service, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality food delivery
* Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
* Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations
* Assist in menu planning and development for breakfast offerings
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area before, during, and after service
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals and guest satisfaction
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
* Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively
* Solid understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, particularly with breakfast service
* Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
* Knowledge of culinary trends and innovative breakfast ideas is desirable
