The Opportunity
Tetra Tech is adding a Senior Geologist to join our subsurface consulting team (Technical Advisory team).
Our Technical Advisory team is made up of highly experienced, industry professionals with unparalleled knowledge in subsurface, reserve audits, equity redetermination and upstream assets. We are dedicated to advancing energy solutions and ensuring the responsible use of resources.
Most of our team is based in Woking, so we can consider hybrid working or remote working. We have flexible working opportunities, including part-time roles, to ensure a balance of family and working life.
About The Role
* Provide technical specialist knowledge in sedimentology and stratigraphy on a variety of established projects in our team.
* Apply technical skills within project teams to deliver complete, high quality end products & recommendations with client satisfaction achieved.
* Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams evaluating subsurface assets through the lifecycle value chain.
* Use detailed knowledge of resource classifications to critically evaluate client assessments.
* Lead the building of geoscience internal knowledge base, working models, approaches across industry topics.
* Coach junior colleagues on advanced technical aspects of work and in-depth sector knowledge.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above in Geoscience discipline
* Hands‑on technical geoscience skills in sedimentology and stratigraphy
* Solid working experience in the oil & gas industry
* Chartership desirable but not essential
