We’re working with a well-established, independently owned large format print and POS production business, known for delivering high-quality display solutions across retail, healthcare, education, and agency sectors.
With over 15 years in the industry and a team of around 40 staff, the business has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Following the recent win of a major long-term contract with a leading supermarket brand, they are now entering an exciting phase of growth and investment.
As a result, they are looking to strengthen their production team with an experienced Large Format Printer Operator.
The Role
This is a hands-on production role working with high-end large format equipment.
You’ll be responsible for producing and finishing a wide range of POS and display graphics, working closely with the wider production team to ensure work is delivered to the highest possible standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating a variety of flatbed and roll to roll print equipment
* Running and supporting large format flatbed cutting tables (Zund)
* Producing print across a variety of substrates (rigid and roll-fed)
* Managing workload and prioritising jobs to meet deadlines
* Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
* Quality checking all output before passing into finishing/dispatch
* Working collaboratively with finishing and dispatch teams
What They’re Looking For
You’ll be a confident operator who understands both print and finishing processes within a large format or POS environment.
Ideal experience includes:
* Hands-on experience with large format print and print finishing equipment
(e.g. Kongsberg, Summa, DYSS, SwissQ, EFI Vutek, HP, Canon, Mimaki)
* Background in large format print, signage, or display graphics
* Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
