Requirements Systems Engineer
We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support a major, mission‑critical programme. You'll work across customers, suppliers and internal teams to define, model and deliver complex system‑of‑systems solutions, with a strong focus on MBSE and requirements engineering.
The Role
* Lead key engineering tasks and help shape the full systems lifecycle.
* Work with stakeholders to define and allocate system‑level requirements.
* Develop models, scenarios and behavioural diagrams using MBSE tools.
* Capture and manage requirements in DOORS.
* Oversee lower‑level designs and produce engineering artefacts (designs, FMEA, compliance reports, capacity analysis, onboarding designs).
* Support architectural definition and trade studies.
* Contribute to milestone reviews and technical documentation.
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with modelling tools (Sparx EA, Cameo/MagicDraw).
* Skilled in frameworks/languages such as TOGAF, MODAF, NAF, SysML or ArchiMate.
* Background in complex integration programmes.
* Experience modelling behaviour, interfaces and functional requirements.
* Solid understanding of virtualised systems and service‑oriented architectures.
* Confident communicator able to work across multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
* ITIL knowledge.
* Experience in safety‑related or regulated environments (e.g., Air Traffic Management).
* Strong presentation and documentation skills.
