About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for our residents.Building relationships with residents and their families, you'll help create personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll ensure high standards of care and serve as a positive influence. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness will guide your actions.Supporting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll facilitate social and recreational activities, administer medication, and ensure proper record-keeping.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge is desirable. Most importantly, you'll bring positive energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively, always showing consideration and kindness.
