Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Bolton. You will work closely with a student who requires additional support due to complex needs, which may include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, physical disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to help young people achieve in education and develop essential life skills. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 tailored support to a pupil with complex needs, ensuring they can access learning and remain engaged. Assist in delivering individualised learning activities, adapting resources to meet the pupil’s specific needs. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Support with personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. Monitor and record progress, reporting observations to the class teacher and SENCO to inform planning. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to provide consistent and holistic support. Requirements Experience working with children with SEN or complex needs (essential). Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Full-time availability.
