Resourcing Administrator

Job Reference: HCC623987
Salary Range: £24,405 - £25,430 per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
Hours per week: 37 (part‑time hours will be considered)
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: 11 May 2026
Interview Date: 22 May 2026

The Role:

Joining our small and supportive Resourcing Team as an Administrator, you’ll play a key role in helping the Adults’ Health and Care and Children’s Services directorates find, attract, recruit and retain fantastic people who embody our values. Providing a range of administrative support, you’ll have daily contact with candidates, arranging interviews and responding to general enquiries. You’ll enjoy working in a collaborative way with other members of the team, responding flexibly to changing priorities and demands.

What you’ll do:

* Monitor our shared inbox, responding to routine enquiries and assigning emails appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
* Coordinate interview scheduling, send invitations and pro‑actively follow up with candidates to maximise attendance.
* Maintain accurate and up to date records across recruitment systems and digital tools, ensuring data quality and GDPR compliance.
* Liaise effectively with managers, candidates and colleagues, providing a professional level of customer service.
* Support team administration as required, proactively escalating process gaps and keeping up to date with changes and improvements.

What we’re looking for:

* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and delivering work right first time.
* Experience working in an administrative and customer focused role, supporting and communicating with a wide range of people. An understanding of recruitment practices would be ideal, but isn’t essential.
* Good organisational skills, able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records in a fast‑paced environment.
* Confident communicator with good verbal and written skills, able to respond professionally to queries and escalating when appropriate. Comfortable phoning candidates to maximise attendance at interview.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office and IT systems, with the agility to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
* A flexible team player who works well under supervision and consistently demonstrates the organisation’s values and behaviours.

Benefits:

* Be part of a service that enables our directorates to make a real difference to vulnerable adults and children across Hampshire.
* Enjoy a flexible, inclusive, and supportive working environment with hybrid working.
* Access to Health Assured’s comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme to support your physical and mental wellbeing, including 24/7 telephone support, a suite of online resources, and legal and financial advice.
* A competitive benefits package that includes generous annual leave entitlement, occupational sick pay, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
