Account Director
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, non‑negotiable)
In a nutshell: We need someone with strong AD experience specifically within a pharma‑focused agency, with a track record of delivering tactical items such as IVAs, leave pieces, VAEs.
Must have the skills to develop a detail aid or create a fully‑fledged creative campaign with strategy tailored for pharma clients who can also lead a capable client service team.

About You
You’re a confident, commercially astute Account Director with a proven background in healthcare communications. You love the mix of strategy, creativity, and client service—and you bring energy, positivity, and leadership to everything you do.
Key Qualifications
* 5–6 years’ agency or client‑side experience (healthcare essential)
* Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharma landscape, including codes of conduct and NHS structure
* Proven success leading and growing client accounts locally, internationally, and globally
* Experience managing teams and mentoring junior colleagues
* Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship‑building skills
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key strategic partner.
* Lead client meetings, providing clear, confident updates and recommendations.
* Keep internal teams informed with regular project updates, ensuring smooth workflow across creative, production, and client review platforms.
Account and Project Leadership
* Oversee brand planning, campaign strategy, and tactical execution across multiple therapy areas.
* Ensure all deliverables align with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
* Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and new business.
* Review proposals, estimates, and POs; support accurate budget management and reconciliation.
* Lead on larger proposals and scopes of work, ensuring commercial viability.
Team Development
* Manage, mentor, and motivate account team members.
* Support performance reviews and personal development plans.
* Ensure adherence to agency processes and uphold company values.
Process & Delivery Excellence
* Streamline workflows and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Lead on materials uploaded to client review platforms (e.g., PromoMats), managing feedback and next steps.
* Support consistent high‑quality delivery across all accounts.
