Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Technician
Salary: £47k per annum
Location: North West
A leading facilities management provider is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to support retail and commercial sites across the North West, including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, etc. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week. Participation in an on-call standby rota (1 week in every 4).
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems including AHUs, split systems, LPHW boilers, DX coils, inverters, and chillers
* Ensure compliance with PPM schedules and complete all associated documentation
* Respond to callouts and carry out diagnostics, repairs, and fault finding
* Recommend suitable replacement options for non-repairable faults
* Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites
Key Requirements
* Minimum of 4 commercial gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CPA1)
* F-Gas certification (C&G 2079 or equivalent)
* 17th or 18th Edition (preferred)
* Experience in HVAC/Gas across multi-site contracts
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong customer service and communication skills
