Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: GBP13.50 - GBP14.00 per hour (DOE) About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a busy, friendly team in a well-established company. This varied role combines core accounts responsibilities with general admin support, and plays a key part in keeping things running smoothly day to day. Key Responsibilities: Accounts & Payroll:
o Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time
o Maintain payroll records and liaise with HMRC as needed
o Handle purchase ledger duties - matching, batching and coding invoices
o Send out customer invoices and assist with credit control where required
o Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end reporting
Administrative Support:
o General office admin including filing, data entry, and document management
o Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate person
o Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding invoice/payment queries
o Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
o Previous experience in an accounts/admin role (ideally with payroll and purchase ledger exposure)
o Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
o Proficient with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks - depending on what you use)
o Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working to deadlines
o Friendly and professional phone manner
