Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Self Employed Hair Extensionist to provide expert hair extension services within a professional salon environment. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build a loyal client base by delivering high-quality hair styling, extension application, and related beauty services. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in hair extensions, customer service, and salon management, ensuring clients leave satisfied and eager to return.
Duties
* Consult with clients to determine their desired hair extension look and recommend suitable options based on face shape, hair type, and personal style.
* Perform precise application of various hair extension techniques.
* Maintain a clean and sanitized work area following health regulations and salon sanitation standards.
* Manage retail sales of hair products, tools, and accessories through effective upselling techniques.
* Educate clients on proper hair extension care and maintenance to ensure longevity of their extensions.
Requirements
* Proven experience in applying various types of hair extensions with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work.
* Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and promote services confidently.
* Ability to perform sanitation procedures adhering to health standards.
* Retail sales experience with upselling capabilities to increase service revenue.
* Excellent customer service skills ensuring a positive client experience from consultation through follow-up care.
This is a self employed position on a rent a chair basis
We have full time In house social media management which is included in your rental
You are also able to sign up to use our booking system.
