Imaging Administrator | Radiology Department | Any 2 days a week | Part time Permanent | Excellent benefits

Spire Cambridge Lea Hopsital is looking for an experienced administrator to join our Imaging department on a Full-time basis on a 12-month Fixed term basis.

Duties and responsibilities

As a Imaging Administrator you will assist a multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient administration within the radiology department, providing an efficient bookings service and operating within set protocols.

1. Welcoming, registering and booking appointments for all patients in a warm, professional and caring manner
2. Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all in and out-patients using a computerised system (SAP and RIS) for GPs, consultants and other users
3. Collate all necessary paperwork to enable radiographer/radiologist to undertake/report the examination
4. Responsibility for the efficient management of imaging bookings, liaising with department staff as appropriate
5. To present a professional, smart image at all times, ensuring adherence to the uniform policy
6. Manage the department phone calls in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. are responded to in a timely manner

Who we're looking for:

7. Experience of face-to-face customer/patient interaction
8. Has excellent Administration skills using different databases and systems (training will be given)
9. Exceptional phone manner
10. Having previous medical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
11. Enthusiastic professional
12. Good use of system such as Outlook

Working Hours - 7.5 hrs per day / Any Days Mon-Fri, plus 1 Saturday per month (Set Days not available)
