Contracts Manager – Interior Fit‑Out

A leading interior fit‑out contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple commercial, retail and refurbishment projects across the UK. This role suits someone confident managing fast‑paced programmes while maintaining strong client relationships and consistent delivery standards.
The Role
You will manage fit‑out and refurbishment contracts from pre‑construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations. You will work closely with clients, delivery teams and subcontractors, driving safe, efficient and commercially aligned project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple fit‑out projects from start to completion.
* Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to meet delivery targets.
* Maintain programme, cost control and project quality standards.
* Coordinate project documentation, reporting and scheduling.
* Carry out site visits, progress meetings and risk assessments.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
* Handle variations, resolve project issues and support commercial activities.
* Ensure all H&S requirements are met across sites.
* Support tenders, planning and mobilisation of new projects.
* Promote continuous improvement in project delivery.
Required:
* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager in interior fit‑out or refurbishment.
* Demonstrable experience managing multiple live projects at once.
* Strong understanding of fit‑out sequencing, subcontractor management and commercial processes.
* Proven ability to manage programme, budgets and quality to contractual standards.
* Experience with site audits, H&S compliance and risk assessments.
* Able to travel nationwide for site commitments.
