About Our Client

The position is a hybrid role in Burton-on-Trent and is a great opportunity for someone who is close to completing their Accounting Qualifications or has recently qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
Job Description
3. Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Liaise with stakeholders across the wider business.
5. Balance sheet reconciliations
6. Ensure accurate consolidation of group financial statements.
7. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
8. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
9. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
10. Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and audits.
11. Maintain and improve financial controls and processes within the organisation.
12. Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Management Accountant should have:
13. A recognised accounting qualification or is close to completion (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
14. Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting skills.
15. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
17. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
