Electromechanical Field Installation Engineer
Location: Home-based covering Hampshire and Dorset
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

The role is not overly complicated, but it requires someone with a proper electromechanical background who is practical, reliable, customer-focused and comfortable working independently on site.
This is a consistent field-based role where much of the work follows a similar pattern day to day. It would suit a dependable engineer who enjoys routine, takes pride in completing work properly and wants a stable, long-term role with sensible hours.

The Role
As an Electromechanical Field Installation Engineer, you will install parking solutions equipment at customer car park sites across Hampshire and Dorset.
You will travel from home to client sites, complete practical installation work, carry out basic testing and checks, and ensure each installation is completed neatly, safely and professionally.
This is a customer-facing role, so the way you represent the business is just as important as the technical work itself. The company has a strong reputation for service, reliability and customer care, so they are looking for someone polite, steady, professional and dependable.
This is not a role for someone looking for complex industrial breakdowns, heavy maintenance or constantly changing technical challenges. It is ideal for someone who wants a predictable, field-based engineering role with autonomy, stability and no call out.
Key Responsibilities
* Install parking solutions equipment at customer car park sites
* Carry out practical electromechanical installation work
* Use hand tools and basic installation equipment
* Complete basic testing and functional checks
* Ensure equipment is fitted neatly, safely and correctly
* Provide a professional service to customers on site
* Complete job updates and paperwork accurately
* Work independently from home across Hampshire and Dorset

We are looking for a reliable, practical engineer who is happy in a customer-facing field role. You do not need to be a heavy industrial engineer or advanced fault-finding specialist. However, you do need to be confident working with equipment, tools, installation tasks and basic technical checks.
