The Position
The Digital Solutions business is delivering data-driven solutions to optimise assets, drive efficiency and enable data-driven decisions. The Edge software product line enhances renewable energy assets by deploying software to an industrial computer at-site (edge box) that communicates with asset control systems.
After contract finalisation, the Product Delivery Team leads hardware procurement, software configuration and deployment, and provides ongoing support. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Product Delivery, you will configure and deploy the Edge software into operating wind and solar farms, coordinate hardware installation with Site Technicians and network configuration with OT Engineers, and use the cloud-based HMI to configure software and deploy it to the edge box.
You will manage multiple projects at different life-cycle stages and across product lines.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead technical discussions with internal and external IT/OT specialists to agree networking and cyber security design for edge box installations
* Complete product onboarding and site-specific documentation (networking, IP addresses, site topology)
* Procure edge box hardware and manage logistics
* Deploy operating system, product software and site-specific configurations onto edge boxes
* Provide remote support to field technicians, OT Engineers and Site Management; perform or coordinate Site Acceptance Tests (SATs)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project execution and on-site integration
* Contribute to developing tools and processes for efficient product deployment
* Develop and document technical procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and best practices
* Monitor and maintain software and hardware of existing deployments
Knowledge
* Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) networks and cybersecurity practices
* Familiarity with IT systems, computer hardware and Linux operating systems
* Familiarity with SCADA systems
* Desirable: experience with wind turbine and/or solar inverter controller networks
* Desirable: industrial automation principles and communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.)
* Desirable: knowledge of how wind and solar farms operate

Experience
* Experience configuring and deploying IT equipment for industrial applications
* Proven track record deploying and troubleshooting controls software in operational environments
* Experience working remotely without close supervision
* Experience with SCADA deployments, HMI development tools, and edge computing is advantageous
* Experience with GitHub is desirable
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
