Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Salary : Up to £38,000 per annum
Start Date : ASAP
Contract : Long-term, with potential for permanent placement

We are working with a small, well-resourced SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Horley that supports pupils aged 11–17 with a range of emotional and behavioural needs. The school is seeking a confident and adaptable General Cover Teacher to join their team and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects.
About the Role
* Teaching small groups of students in a nurturing and structured environment
* Delivering lessons across different subjects with support from curriculum leads
* Building strong relationships with pupils and promoting positive behaviour
* Working closely with support staff and the pastoral team
Creating a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning space
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
* A calm, consistent and empathetic approach
* Strong classroom management and adaptability
Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
Desirable Skills
* Experience in alternative provision or specialist settings
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or restorative approaches
Ability to differentiate and personalise learning
