Our client is looking for a forklift driver to join their team. This role is Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent. You will be crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished products throughout their manufacturing and warehousing operations. The working hours for the role are 5:45 until 14:00 and 13:45 until 22:00 rotating each week. Key Responsibilities include the following: Operating a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials. Transporting goods between the warehouse and the yard. Receiving and dispatching goods, verifying quantities and ensuring quality. Maintaining a clean and organised work area, including the forklift. Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct daily pre-use checks of the forklift and reporting any defects immediately. Assisting with inventory management and stock taking as required. Safely and efficiently handling materials to prevent damage.
