Responsibilities:
Set up new capital projects in Business Central software, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Track and update project estimates, revisions, and budget changes in Business Central.
Organize and maintain detailed project spreadsheets for departmental use and reporting.
Gather cost projections and data to assist with project forecasting and budget analysis.
Track and analyze maintenance expenses related to capital projects.
Assist in preparing fiber damage billings and coordinating related project details.
Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of the department’s process and procedure manuals.
Assist Procurement Coordinators with tasks as needed.
Request change orders and process incoming invoices related to capital projects.
Close completed and cancelled projects in Business Central and update records accordingly.
Upload and maintain project files in Business Central for proper documentation.
Record monthly fixed asset entries to ensure proper financial tracking.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, project coordination, or related administrative work, preferably in capital projects or construction.
Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
