Job Title: Class 2 Driver
Location: Aldershot
Pay Rate: £16.90 to £25.35 per hour
Standard Rate: £16.90 per hour + £2.04 holiday pay = £18.94 per hour total
Overtime (after 45 hours): £25.35 per hour + £3.06 holiday pay = £28.41 per hour total
Hours: Monday to Friday (04:00 - 14:00 finish) - ongoing full time work
Licence: Class 2 licence essential
Experience: 6 months experience driving Class 2 required
Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Aldershot to work with our client, whoprovides water, waste and resource management solutionsto millions of people and businesses worldwide.
You will be operating a Class 2 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) collecting commercial waste. It is important that you have previous waste/RCV experience.

Hours:

Shiftstarts between 13:00 and 14:00
Roles & Responsibilities:
Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
Collecting commercial refuse from different local areas each day
Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins - providing excellent Customer Service and ensuring the bins are left tidy and correctly re-positioned once emptied
Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
Complete daily checks and report any defects
All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.
About you:
You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
You must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and be able to work independently when required. You must be reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
