The ideal candidate will have Engineering Technician experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with a GMP focus. You should be people-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy building positive relationships across the team. Every day brings new challenges, so a proactive mindset, motivation, and a positive attitude are essential for success.
Role Purpose
To support the smooth and efficient running of production line machinery by correctly setting up lines during changeovers, ensuring efficient operation, attending breakdowns, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Duties & Key Responsibilities

Working with Engineers and Hygiene Operatives, set up production lines for upcoming runs by following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to changeovers, hygiene, and quality checks

Monitor performance on SIC boards to drive line efficiency
*
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliable performance
*
Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment, system, and process issues, proposing solutions and improvements where possible
*
Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are consistently met
*
Maintain clean, tidy work areas and ensure tools and parts are removed after tasks are completed
*
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain required documentation
*
Proactively identify opportunities to improve line performance
*
Record parts used and update the stores inventory accordingly
